Oh, and as far as you question you keep insisting I answer? Bite me.1. As soon as you show that you are capable of accepting other people's personal anecdotes...and as soon as you show that you are willing to answer other people's hypothetical questions...then people will consider accepting YOUR personal anecdotes...and answering YOUR hypothetical questions.2. When the Church addresses this incident by issuing THEIR side of the story...by doing MORE than issuing that sad excuse for a statement...then we shall be more than happy to discuss what the Church says.3. Bite you? Sorry Kent...don't swing that direction...besides...no telling WHERE you've been. .

Kevin Allen: Disappointed Wings didn't get Fedorov, but Stuart a good ...
To me its a mixed bag. I really am disappointed in the team that they didnt make an effort to get Sergei Fedorov, I think they poked around there, but when you see what Fedorov went for, I just think they decided there was mixed reviews to decide to bring him in. They decided they liked their group up front. I disagree. I thought he would be a nice fit in there. On Brad Stuart: I do like what they did on defense, after the big boys (Dan Boyle, who was re-signed, and Rob Blake, who did not want to waive his no-trade clause), I thought that Brad Stuart was the best of that group and when you give only a couple draft picks, and not a first rounder, and you get a two-way defenseman with a little bit of grit and size and can move the puck, I think you made a pretty good move.
Chronicle's Goodfellows raises record amount
The Houston Chronicle's Goodfellows program had a record year in 2007, raising more than $1.19 million from 5,066 donors. The 2007 season collected $1,190,619.40, an increase of more than $165,000 from the 2006 season. In that year, the program which provides holiday toys to Houston-area families, collected $1,024,245.73. The funds were anchored by several significant donations $200,000 each from Les Alexander and the Rockets' Clutch City Foundation and John Eddie and Sheridan Williams, and $60,000 from the Fred and Mabel R. Parks Foundation. But the bulk of the donations came from smaller checks, many ranging from $5 to $25. "Our legacy program, Goodfellows, 95 years strong, continues to serve a growing base of needy Houston families," said Chronicle Publisher Jack Sweeney.

Below a footbridge, hundreds of sandpipers hopped around the mudflats. To the right, along a slough edged by pickleweed, cordgrass and more wetlands, a giant egret and snowy egret also poked around for food. These are what we call "the usual suspects" at Bothin Marsh, because you can almost always count on spotting them. Yet over the course of a year, they are joined by hundreds of other species of birds (490 have been independently verified). That is why repeat visits here can be like watching a great movie over and over, where you know what to expect, yet can pick up something new every time. I've seen avocets, black-crowned night herons, great blue herons, black phoebes, curlews, grebes and many species of ducks, gulls, sparrows, finches and hawks. Bothin Marsh is an expansive wetland with a gorgeous, flat trail for walks, hikes or bike rides, located along the bay with easy access from Sausalito, right along Highway 101 next to Richardson Bay in Marin County.
EPA staff backed waiver for Calif. on emissions, files say
The staff report was given to Johnson in a PowerPoint presentation dated late October. The EPA has refused to release unredacted versions of that presentation or other documents in response to congressional demands, citing executive branch confidentiality. But Boxer's aides were allowed to review and transcribe several versions of the 46-page PowerPoint presentation on Tuesday, spending 5 1/2 hours doing so under supervision of EPA staff, Boxer said. EPA officials asked that the information be kept private, but Boxer's staff told the EPA they would not agree to that condition, and they released the excerpts to reporters yesterday. EPA spokesman Jonathan Shradar said Boxer's decision to release the excerpts was "troubling," though he didn't dispute their accuracy.
Our Troops Must Leave Iraq
As for the Courics, Williams, whatever is on ABC and the dregs from cable. Go to hell you spineless worms. You're worthless. Yes, indeed, bring the troops home, and send them to D.C. –to evict these bastards. (since voting won't do it anymore) .
Vintage charms of Lincoln Park
Warmth, charm and flexibility characterize a one-bedroom, one-bath unit at 401 W. Fullerton Ave. in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Known as The Patricians, the 17-floor structure has 276 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units. A turnaround driveway outside the 1920s building allows vehicles to pull up under a wide canopy. In the lobby, a desk staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, provides access to the building's two towers. Around the corner from the lobby, in the wood-beamed elevator area, a stairway saved from the single-family home that once graced this property rises to the second floor. Its brass railing and decorative balustrade suit the wood-paneled elevators, each with a brass-paneled door. .
